Meet the people behind DVC Rental UK
Joel Marlow
Co-Founder & Director
Joel holds a business management degree and leads DVC Rental UK day to day.
His connection to Walt Disney World spans more than three decades, and he
brings that knowledge and first-hand DVC experience to every part of the business.
Harriet Marlow
Co-Founder & Director
Harriet has been visiting Walt Disney World for more than a decade and has first-hand experience of both renting points and DVC ownership. As Co-Founder and Director, her experience has helped shape the values and personal approach at the heart of DVC Rental UK.
Jake Allonby ACA · CTA
Finance Director
Jake is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT). As Finance Director, he oversees DVC Rental UK’s financial operations, applying his accounting and tax expertise to support the company’s financial strategy and governance.
It has always been more than a holiday
For us, Walt Disney World has never been just somewhere we visit. It has been part of Joel’s life since his first trip as a child in 1990, and we have been visiting together for more than a decade.
We know the excitement of planning a trip and how the memories can stay with you long after you come home.
Our story
For years, we had dreamed of building a business around something we genuinely loved. Our own experience with DVC rentals showed us exactly what that business should be.
Before becoming DVC Members, we rented points for our own holidays. Later, we rented out our points when we could not travel. Experiencing the process from both sides showed us there was a need for a service built specifically around the way UK Guests holiday and UK Members use their points.
Our aim was simple: to create the kind of service we would want to use ourselves. One that feels personal, makes the process clear and never loses sight of the people behind each booking.
What we do
We connect Guests who want to stay at Disney Vacation Club resorts with Members who have points available to rent. Once matched, the Member makes the reservation directly with Disney.
Every Member is identity verified through a secure platform before renting with us. Prices and payments are handled in pounds, and both Guests and Members receive personal UK-based support throughout.
Why it matters to us
Behind every request is a trip that matters to someone. It could be a first visit, a long-awaited return, a honeymoon, a celebration or simply time away together.
These trips bring people together, give them something wonderful to look forward to and create memories that last a lifetime. Being trusted to play a small part in those memories is something we never take for granted. That is why we love what we do.
